Assistant/Associate Professor or rank commensurate with experience, CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST. The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a licensed psychologist for an immediately available clinician-educator position, academic rank commensurate with experience.  The candidate should have active teaching and clinical interest and be competent in the delivery of evidenced based therapies.  The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cognitive behavioral therapies. Interest and expertise in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based therapies is desired.

The primary responsibilities for this position will involve providing evidenced based therapy services for adults with mood and anxiety disorders, as well as teaching and supervising psychology externs, interns, post-doctoral fellows, and psychiatry residents. Research collaborations are highly encouraged.

The successful candidate will join a productive multi-disciplinary team of clinicians known to work well together. Candidates must be licensed or license eligible in Illinois. Individuals holding a doctoral degree from an APA accredited graduate program and who have completed an APA accredited internship will be given fullest consideration.
