The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for a non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position starting fall semester, 2014.
Responsibilities include co-teaching a two-semester undergraduate course in anatomy and physiology, and human cadaver dissection. This position will also be responsible for the organization and management of the department’s human cadaver lab and supervision of the graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants assigned to the courses.
This position requires a doctoral degree in human anatomy or a terminal degree in a related field and experience with human cadaver dissection. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-enrollment courses, especially in the blended/online environment. Experience in collaborative and/or independent research in the field associated with their terminal degree is preferred.
