This position will produce creative video content that portrays UIC Athletics' story across multiple mediums Duties of this position include, but is not limited to: produce compelling content for digital and social outlets from ideation to finished product including: scripting, shooting, editing and motion graphics; contribute ideas and assist in planning, shooting, editing intro/hype videos; ideate and create motion graphics for social media use; strong understanding of trends in the industry and proven storytelling ability using video and audio; collaborate with colleagues to ensure sponsorship integration into video content; aid in the revenue-generating opportunities of the department; oversee consistency in brand guidelines and messaging related to content and posting.

  • Produce compelling content for digital and social outlets from ideation to finished product including: scripting, shooting, editing and motion graphics.

CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER
 

  • Any one or any combination of the following, totaling one (1) year (12 months), from the categories below:
    • experience in instructional communications, instructional technology, industrial communications, video production or closely related fields
    • credit for college course work in communications or closely related field such as photography, journalism, advertising, public relations, broadcasting, graphic design or video production
      • 30 semester hours equals 6 months
      • 60 semester hours equals 1 year (12 months)
    • vocational training in a field closely related to video productio
