The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Dietitian Nutritionist for the Pediatrics department.

This is a full-time, exempt, union position (Monday – Friday) located in Peoria, IL (160 miles southwest of Chicago).

The Dietitian Nutritionist Specialist is responsible for clinic based pediatric nutritional therapy and counseling in regards to the treatment and prevention of disease. The position participates in medical student and resident education, serves as a team lead in community outreach, and participates in clinical research. An extensive knowledge of current pediatric nutritional guidelines/practices and software systems is required

CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER

Possession of current Registered Dietitian licensure from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations and credentials and registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
