The Main Desk Attendant will welcome visitors, students and staff into the main building entrances of the FAC and PEB buildings. The primary role of this position is to provide the highest level of customer service, answer questions, direct/or escort visitors to their destination and assist with light clerical tasks.

Essential Duties

  • Greets visitors, determine nature and purpose of visit, direct and/or escort them to destination.
  • Provide information regarding organization and employees as permitted.
  • Ensure that all visitors entering the facility complete mandatory check-in process and sign visitors’ log.
  • Receive USPS/Campus mail, deliveries, and receivables.
  • Maintain appearance of front entrance and request facilities service as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:

  1. High school graduation or equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant experience working in a customer service/call center or front desk attendant role.
  • 1 year of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel
  • 1year of experience using standard office equipment such as VOIP multi-line phone, multi-function printer/copier/fax machine.
