The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a full-time academic Anatomic Pathologist with subspecialty expertise in Breast Pathology. This is an open-rank faculty position, rank and tenure will be commensurate with candidate’s experience, qualifications and funding.

This position involves providing advanced breast pathology expertise and collaborative research with clinicians and basic science investigators. Opportunities exist to participate on other sub-specialty diagnostic services, in particular, molecular pathology, e.g., next generation sequence interpretation and consultation.

Candidates for this position must have an MD or MD/PhD degree, qualify for a license to practice medicine in Illinois, and possess board certification in anatomical pathology. A minimum of two years of independent sign-out experience is preferred
