UIC has a large medical school and OB/GYN faculty are actively involved with teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. In addition to general OB/GYN, the Division has Global Women’s Health, Family Planning and FPMRS Sections. 

UIC has a large medical school and OB/GYN faculty are actively involved with teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. In addition to general OB/GYN, the Division has Global Women’s Health, Family Planning and FPMRS Sections.

The Department has a thriving OB/GYN Residency Program with 7 residents per year.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience and excellence in general obstetrics and gynecology, including ambulatory care, gynecologic surgery and inpatient obstetrical care.

Experience teaching/supervising and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows highly preferred. Great communications skills required

Candidate must have MD degree or equivalent, be eligible for unrestricted medical license in Illinois, and be Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
