The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician to fill one full-time position in our Division of Pediatric Primary Care.

The ideal candidate will have an MD/DO degree or equivalent, completed 3 years of pediatric residency and will hold or have applied for an Illinois physician’s license.  The position includes providing in-patient clinical care of pediatric patients; teaching medical students and residents in the department; organizing and conducting research and scholarly activity, and performing other duties of a University faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and administration. The candidate will collaborate with other divisions in the department and participate in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs.

Malpractice insurance is provided by the University of Illinois system and an excellent benefits package available including vacations, sick time, CME, health and life insurance and retirement plan.

The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician to fill one full-time position in our Division of Pediatric Primary Care.  We are seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor/Physician Surgeon of Clinical Pediatrics.  The ideal candidate will have completed 3 years of pediatric residency and be BC/BE in Pediatrics and will hold or have applied for an Illinois physician’s license.  The position includes clinical care of pediatric patients, teaching medical students and residents. Organizing and conducting research and scholarly activity, and performing other duties of a University faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and administration. 

 

Responsibilities

1. Provide clinical services for patients.

2. Participate in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs of the Department of Pediatrics.

3.  Organize and conduct research and scholarly activity in pediatric medicine.

4. Perform other duties of a University faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and student counseling.

 

 

MD/DO degree
Eligible for licensure in Illinois.
Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics 
3 years pediatric residency
