The University of Illinois at Chicago (Department of Neurology) and the UI Hospital and Health Sciences System are undergoing a major Neurology expansion with a strong emphasis on building world-class clinical and multidisciplinary translational research programs.

Multiple faculty positions in general neurology with or with subspecialty interest are available. Sub specialty positions currently available are in Neuromuscular Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Vascular Neurology or Epilepsy (rank/tenure will be commensurate with experience). Generous start-up resources can be made available for all positions to qualified applicants.

Successful applicants are expected to establish and maintain vigorous clinical programs and/or externally funded research programs and participate in teaching.

M.D. Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Rehabilitation required.

For Vascular position: Completed an ACGME-approved fellowship and be board certified (or board eligible) in vascular neurology.

For Neuromuscular position: Board-certification or eligibility in Neuromuscular Medicine is required.

Strong academic interest and have a track record of leadership, research, teaching, and clinical service.
