Under general direction, coordinates and implements projects associated with maintaining databases and creating and delivering reports from medical records databases currently in use by UHS. Identifies opportunities and methods to ensure accurate data entry by staff.

Assists with implementation of new enhancements and upgrades for Agility medical records database Tests all functions in test  database and repeat testing in production.  Assists with reporting and database management for UHS databases and EMRs, including Agility, Epic, REDCaps, and Immuware. Assists with assessing the needs of the end users to review and recommend approaches to enhance and streamline data entry to improve efficiency.  

Assists with  database management and reporting for special projects such as those related to biometric monitoring for COVID-19. Assists with identifying opportunities to automate reports and processes for end users. Assist with  monthly Agility banner uploads with Hospital Information Services; run error report and clean up any database errors to assist with maintenance of database; assist with lab data entry; assist with resolving technical computer issues.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

A. College course work in any field:

     60 semester hours equals 1 year (12 months)

     90 semester hours equals 2 years (24 months)

    120 semester hours equals 3 years (36 months)

B. Progressively more responsible work experience in supervising, organizing, coordinating or other significant work with specific educational or administrative program initiatives.

Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of computer systems and operations preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Intermediate level of Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Access.

Intermediate level of Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to work effectively with staff, other University departments and outside vendor (Net Health).
