Under general direction, coordinates and implements projects associated with Agility medical records database and equipment including coordinating the implementation and maintenance of Agility upgrades, interfaces and portals; providing assistance in user testing and user troubleshooting. Interaction with end-users and other campus departments as well as problem shooting are integral responsibilities.

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary UI Health COVID response team to meet and respond to various data needs for UIC Campus and UI Health.
Generate compliance and surveillance reports to meet various departmental needs and expectations using MS Office, with specialized expertise in Excel.
Identify solutions and generate customized reports to respond to requests.
Provide Database management that includes but not limited to problem solving and planning strategically for how the database can be used for the variety of programs in which University Health Service is involved.
Interview or “intake” staff and departmental needs/requests and then identify and create the type of programming and/or reporting to meet the need.
Develop and provide training for new and existing staff on tools and applications used specifically for COVID response including, Immuware, Agility, Box, REDCaps, and Cisco Finesse.
Act as administrator for various applications providing access and regularly monitoring permissions to ensure appropriate and secure access to systems.
Assess and evaluate setting goals, and objectives of UHS programs as requested and identify opportunities for improvement or enhancement of existing programs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)
3. Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may be required.
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of computer systems and operations preferred, including Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Access and Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with staff, other University departments and outside vendor (Net Health).
Ability to organize and multi- task.
Supervisory ability and knowledge of administrative concepts and methods.
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in order to be able to analyze and investigate a variety of questions or problems.
