RN Duties

Days/flex
 2 years’ experience with GI procedures (mandatory) required.
• A minimum of a BSN required.
• RN License required.
• ACLS required.
• Experience in pre and post procedure assessment in Endoscopy required.
• Two (2) years of experience with Endoscopy procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, etc) required.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) that facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, families and health care providers.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to become proficient in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) with on-the-job training.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of the Endoscopy team.
• Ability to interpret hospital and departmental policies and procedures and apply standards consistently.
• Ability to articulate the Endoscopy RN’s role in the delivery of patient care.
• Independently motivated self-starter and highly organized.
• Clinical knowledge and understanding of Endoscopy procedures.
• Ability to operate Endoscopy Lab equipment.
• Excellent attendance, interpersonal skills and work history required.

40 hrs week
