The Center for Social Policy and Research at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work is seeking a Visiting Senior Research Specialist.

The Visiting Senior Research Specialist contributes to the design and execution of special programming undertaken by Illinois agencies to assess the evaluation and assessment of Acclivus Inc.  Acclivus, Inc. is community health organization, focusing on the health and well-being of individuals living in Chicago’s most vulnerable neighborhoods.  The position manages data collection from multiple sites and collaborates with social service providers, state administrators, staff, and consumers to develop, evaluate, and assess program approach results. Position requires complex data collection strategies, participatory study methods, and analytical skills.

Minimum qualifications for consideration: Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field required. Master’s degree in social science preferred. Minimum of 5 years related research experience. Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
