Ten (10) Positions Available

UI Health Occupational Therapy Department is looking for Extra Help Occupational Therapists with experience in adult acute care and/or behavioral health settings.  Guaranteed weekend/holiday hours, and additional potential for weekday and evening hours.  Minimum requirement is one weekend day per month with additional contribution around one summer holiday and one winter holiday for a minimum of 14 days per year.  Medical services covered may include orthopedic, stroke, neurology, cardiology, medically complex, ICU, oncology, psychiatry, and general medicine.

Provide professional therapy services in accordance with the standards established by the professional association and other relevant regulatory requirements. Supervise Occupational Therapist students.

Complete administrative and regulatory tasks required as an employee of the UI Health and for practice as a licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Illinois.

Other related duties as assigned.
 

Licensure or Eligibility for licensure as a registered occupational therapist by the State of Illinois under the condition that they have been issued a letter of authorization from the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) allowing them to practice under supervision
