The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is seeking two BC/BE gynecologic oncologists to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and a growing Cancer Center. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

UIC is committed to serving the residents of local Chicago with a prioritized mission of health equity. The Cancer Center’s vision of “Community to Bench” is supported by robust basic science, translational and clinical research with interdisciplinary collaborative opportunities across the campus. The Cancer Center is an active member of NRG and the department of Ob/Gyn hosts a BIRCWH mentored research program.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must demonstrate clinical expertise in advanced surgical interventions and competency in prescribing chemotherapy. Clinical support includes a full-time ARNP. The department of Ob/Gyn prioritizes undergraduate and graduate medical education, and seeks motivated clinical educator

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent, be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Illinois, and be board certified/board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
