This Visiting Research Associate II position supports the assessment of implementation approaches designed by multiple State of Illinois agencies to transition older adults and individuals with physical disabilities and mental illnesses into community setting as prescribed by the Williams and Colbert federal consent decrees.

Responsibilities include conducting interviews with social service provider staff to include survey workers’ knowledge/skills/attitudes of key components of programming, barriers to effective outreach of consumers/class members; and assess provider hiring and training outcomes for specific workers.

Minimum qualifications for consideration: Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field.

One year of related research experience.

Knowledge of research concepts, practices, and procedures.
