The Department of Physiology and Biophysics of the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for non-tenure track faculty position at the Research Assistant Professor level.  

This position will engage in activities within a lab focused on muscle contractility and cardiac physiology research.  The position will design and conduct experiments including ex vivo mouse working heart studies, develop and refine methodologies, analyze data, report findings, author publications, present at conferences, write grants and other proposals, and contribute to technical training of junior members of the lab.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in the area of physiology, biophysics, or a related field of biomedical discipline and at least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral experience, a strong publication record, and potential for extramural funding.
