Three (3) Positions Available

The Department Information Supervisor (DIS) will coordinate the information resource and processing functions of the department, monitor and actively monitoring efficiency and staffing productivity. The DIS will effectively and independently monitor information processing functions for the department including staffing resource allocation, establishment of work standards, determination of work priorities, and problem solving. This position will report to the Director of Nursing Information Systems.

Supervise the communication, operation and departmental information handling process, to ensure prompt and accurate institutional information is provided to staff and leadership..

Supervise, train, and coordinate daily activities of assigned staff within the department.

Establish and maintain training manual of the department’s standard operating procedures.

Effectively and independently monitor information processing functions for the department including staffing resource allocation, establishment of work standards, determination of work priorities, and problem solving.

Act as a central department resources for the correspondence of written and oral communication.

Evaluate and implement departmental systems and procedures to maximize and ensure efficiency, as required.

Determine communication equipment needs and request required maintenance service.

Utilize staffing software applications and applicable reports daily to logistically provide supplemental resources to the institution.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

  1. High school graduation or equivalent
  2. Five years of administrative and/or supervisory office experience that included supervision, organization, and coordination of work programs and responsibility for the performance of those supervised.
  3. Three years or more of data entry and management, including retrieval and application of data findings within an electronic health record or applicable system, and/or department staff experience.
