RN Duties

 

Three (3) Available Positions:

Days/flex

 5 years’ experience with GI procedures scheduling (required)

  • BSN required.
  • RN License required.
  • ACLS required.
  • Five (5) years’ experience with Endoscopy procedures required.
  • Experience with Endoscopy procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, etc) preferred.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) that facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, families and health care providers.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to become proficient in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) with on-the-job training.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the Endoscopy team.
  • Ability to interpret hospital and departmental policies and procedures and apply standards consistently.
  • Ability to articulate the Endoscopy RN’s role in the delivery of patient care.
  • Independently motivated self-starter and highly organized.
  • Clinical knowledge and understanding of Endoscopy procedures.
  • Ability to operate Endoscopy Lab equipment.
  • Excellent attendance, interpersonal skills and work history required. 
  • 40 hrs / 5 days
