  • Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse required
  • Advanced Practice Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader from the State of Illinois required
  • Masters of Science in Nursing and/or Doctorate Degree in Nursing required
  • Minimum Three (3) - Five (5) years of related relevant Pediatrics nursing experience required
  • Current BLS / ACLS and other required unit-specific certifications required
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) that facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, families and health care providers
  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to become proficient in Epic with on-the-job training
  • Complete and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
  • Complete 50 hours of pediatric emergency/critical care continuing education within a 2-year period
  • Excellent attendance, interpersonal skills and work history required.
